Back to the Journey
I was able to stay home with my children for twelve years. During that time, I homeschooled Kelsey in K, 1st, part of 2nd, and 3rd grades; Allison in K, 1st, and 2nd grade, Ancil IV in K and 1st grade. Kendra is the only one that I did not officially homeschool. She tells me that she wants me to homeschool her but that she would not want me to be her teacher at school. I think that is best. It was a wonderful season in my life! I started down the path to obtain my teaching license in the fall of 2003. I went the non-traditional route and it has been an interesting ride. I am very thankful that I was able to get into teaching. I was able to receive my standard teaching license in 2006.

I admire your acheivement. I think it is great for you and your children that they have had a mix of homeschool and public school.
I bet you learned a lot from the homeschool experience that you can carry over into your public school experience.
By the way, how are things going for you? I've down to everything done but the movie! Oh, and my other class...but it's on the back burner right now.
I am so glad that I had the pleasure to teach with you for a few years! I sure will miss you! CRY, CRY, CRY!!!!
That is great that you were able to be with your children on that level. But, if I understood, you have four children all within a few years of each other. That is wonderful but it must have been very exhausting. How are things going now?
I admire your spirit & know you'll carry that with you to the classroom.
